Blizzard bans thousands of accounts for gold trading in WoW Forever beta

Blizzard Entertainment has banned approximately 4,000 accounts in the beta phase of WoW Forever due to Real Money Trading (RMT). Senior Game Designer Josh Greenfield confirmed the crackdown on gold sellers and bots.

The enforcement comes as the community prepares for a major duel tournament featuring a $100,000 prize pool. Developers are closely monitoring participants to prevent players from gaining unfair advantages by purchasing high-level items or materials through illicit gold trading.
