Blizzard Entertainment has clarified that its upcoming StarCraft open-world shooter, scheduled for release in 2030, will not be an Xbox exclusive. Following the game's announcement at BlizzCon, which featured the ‘Dominion’ cinematic trailer, questions arose regarding platform availability after Xbox UK mentioned console support.

While Blizzard has not confirmed specific platforms beyond hinting at a PC release and non-exclusivity, a spokesperson stated that the studio would request a correction if the title were described as an Xbox exclusive. The developers have indicated the game will focus on a dark experience and will not include live service elements.
