Blizzard details nine new dungeons for WoW Forever
Blizzard has detailed nine new five-player dungeons for the upcoming release of World of Warcraft: Forever, scheduled for November 4, 2026. These instances, which players often refer to as 'Classic Plus' content, are designed to fill gaps in the leveling experience across the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor.
The new content spans levels 13 to 60. Low-level dungeons include the Hall of Thanes in Dun Morogh and the Ruins of Lordaeron in Tirisfal Glades. Mid-level locations feature the Excavation Site, the sunken City of Dalaran, the Drowned City, and Krol'dok Stronghold. High-level challenges include Alcaz Prison, Blackmaw Hold, and Shaper's Terrace, located in Dustwallow Marsh, Azshara, and Un'Goro Crater.
While maintaining the core gameplay mechanics of the original Classic experience, these dungeons introduce new boss mechanics involving interrupts, threat management, and environmental damage. The addition aims to provide more flexible leveling routes and reduce the need for repetitive grinding of original content.
