Blizzard prepares World of Warcraft: Forever launch
Blizzard is finalizing preparations for the global launch of World of Warcraft: Forever on November 4, 2026. Following a highly popular beta period, the company has extended the testing phase through October 23 to allow more players to experience the content.
In response to community feedback, Blizzard confirmed that the Roleplay-PvP rule set will be available at launch. This system replaces the traditional realm concept, allowing players to choose specific gameplay styles including Normal, PvP, RP, and the combined Roleplay-PvP. Character name reservations are scheduled to begin on October 27.
The upcoming release features a reimagined version of classic content, including new raids such as Tiefengrabhügel and Hyjalgipfel, alongside a revamped version of the Molten Core raid. While the beta highlighted technical concerns regarding server stability during mass player gatherings and issues with map layering, the developer has introduced new features like a profession-based camping system to enhance the adventure experience.
