Blizzard issues hotfixes for World of Warcraft season 2
Blizzard Entertainment has released a series of hotfixes for World of Warcraft following player frustration with the new season and Patch 12.1. A primary focus of these updates is addressing issues within the Bounty Hunts for the Blood Elf Astalor.
Specifically, the “Toxic Snare” effect, which players found unfair due to its high damage and extreme movement reduction, has been significantly nerfed. The snare now reduces movement speed by 50% instead of 90% and deals 75% less damage.
Additional updates include balancing for the raid boss Ula’tek and the final boss of the new dungeon. Blizzard also addressed a bug where raid quests would fail to complete if a player died at the exact moment of victory, ensuring the quest now registers successfully even if the player is dead upon the boss's defeat.
