Blizzard patches Diablo 4 to fix deadly ring bug and improve mythic loot

Blizzard confirmed that the unique "Wendigo's Mark" ring in Diablo 4 suffers from a bug that can dangerously reduce a character's health, putting hardcore players at risk of death. After reports of the issue dating back to April, the company said it is investigating the problem and working on a fix.

In a patch released this week, Blizzard also increased the drop rates for mythic items in Season 14, guaranteeing a mythic reward at level 12 and adding Superior Lair Keys to regular loot pools. The update rebuilds the Horadric Cube to allow direct upgrading of an item to mythic quality, and the studio indicated further improvements are planned for Season 15.
