Blizzard releases Forsaken Kingdom campaign for Warcraft III

Blizzard Entertainment has released Forsaken Kingdom, a new official campaign for Warcraft III Reforged. Set in the kingdom of Lordaeron, the expansion explores the period following the death of King Terenas by Arthas and focuses on the rise of the Forsaken and the establishment of Undercity.

The campaign shifts away from traditional real-time strategy (RTS) elements, prioritizing narrative, exploration, and hero progression. Players experience the fall of Lordaeron through the eyes of new protagonists, such as Garek Bandarion, a lieutenant of the guard, providing a ground-level perspective on the Scourge invasion.

While the expansion has been praised for its high-quality cinematics and faithful adherence to Warcraft lore, some gameplay aspects have received mixed reviews.
