Blizzard updates World of Warcraft: Forever with class reworks and visual changes

Blizzard Entertainment is preparing for the November launch of World of Warcraft: Forever, a project aimed at recreating the classic MMO experience. The ongoing paid beta has seen a surge in popularity, forcing the developer to increase population caps due to high demand.

Recent updates focus on significant class reworks for Druids, Warlocks, and Priests. Druids will receive mechanical changes to Bear and Cat forms to improve gear scaling and combat effectiveness, while Warlocks and Priests will see new abilities designed to enhance tactical depth while maintaining original class identities.

In response to community feedback, Blizzard has announced a visual redesign of the new Skyborne race. Players noted that the Skyborne models appeared too modern and high-fidelity compared to the game’s classic aesthetic. Blizzard plans to implement a 'retro makeover' for both HD and SD graphical modes to ensure visual cohesion with the rest of the game's assets.
