Blizzard rolls out Diablo 4 Season 6 and Diablo III Season 33 updates

Blizzard Entertainment announced the upcoming Diablo 4 Season 6, themed “Unveiling Ancient Secrets.” The season adds an “Arcane Attunement” system that lets players modify skills with rare gems, introduces Shadow Nexus Dungeons with adaptive enemies, a Relic Vault for assembling powerful artifacts, and new cooperative content such as Rift Raids and Clan Wars.

The company also launched Diablo III Season 33, titled “Shades of the Nephalem.” This season revives the Altar of Rites progression tree and Visions of Enmity portal challenges, allowing players to earn account‑wide bonuses and high‑density enemy encounters. Completing the season’s seals grants the cosmetic Wings of Terror, and reaching the Conqueror tier unlocks additional stash tabs. Season 33 began on 25 October 2024 and is part of Blizzard’s strategy to cycle fan‑favorite mechanics while keeping the Diablo III experience fresh alongside Diablo IV development.
