Blizzard updates WoW Forever beta and reschedules stress test
Blizzard has released the fourth major beta update for ‘WoW Forever’, introducing significant changes to racial abilities and class mechanics. A primary overhaul involves removing weapon bonuses for specific races, replacing them with new buffs that benefit the entire raid group. This shift aims to prioritize group play mechanics and improve game balance by eliminating difficult-to-manage individual weapon bonuses.
Additionally, Blizzard has rescheduled the ‘WoW Forever’ server stress test to October 21, a two-day delay from the original October 19 date. The test is open to all players without requiring a beta key or subscription. The stress test will launch across multiple time zones, including North America, Europe, and Asia. Developers noted that all characters and guilds created during this test will be wiped once the event concludes to prepare for official name reservations. The full game launch remains scheduled for November 4, 2026.
