BlizzCon 2026 details released by Blizzard Entertainment

Blizzard Entertainment has released preliminary details and a guide for BlizzCon 2026, which is scheduled to take place on September 12 and 13 at the Anaheim Convention Center. The event will feature announcements, e-sports competitions, community activities, and cosplay. While some attractions remain secret until the Opening Ceremony, the convention will include panels, a community night, and the traditional Murloc March.

For remote viewers, portions of the programming, including the Opening Ceremony and major panels, will be broadcast for free on Blizzard’s official YouTube, Twitch, and Battle.net channels.

Viewers watching via Twitch can participate in a Twitch Drops promotion running from September 12 through September 27 to earn in-game rewards for World of Warcraft. Rewards are tiered based on watch time, including 200 Trader’s Tender for two hours, the Cuddly Blue Grrgle housing decor for four hours, the Fluffy Comfy Flying Quilt mount for eight hours, and the Venomous Champion’s Illustrious Banner toy for twelve hours. Attendees can also claim these rewards by linking their BlizzCon Pass to their Battle.net account by September 18.
