BLM awards young radio talents in Bavaria

The Bavarian State Agency for New Media (BLM) has announced the winners of the ‘MachDeinRadio-Star 2026’ competition during the MEDIENTAGEN in Munich. The awards recognize radio contributions, podcasts, and audio plays produced by students and young people between the ages of six and 25 across Bavaria.

Winners in four distinct categories each received a prize of 400 euros. The awardees include Gymnasium Roth in the ‘Youngsters’ category for their piece on Judo, Sabel Realschule Nürnberg in the ‘Teens’ category for a radio play, and Röntgen-Gymnasium Würzburg in the ‘P-Seminar’ category for a report on historical witch trials and their connections to modern social media hate speech.
