Block Festa 2026 to discuss stablecoins and asset tokenization in Seoul

The Block Festa 2026 blockchain and digital asset conference is scheduled to take place on October 1 at the IFC The Forum in Yeouido, Seoul. Under the theme ‘Institutions, Standing on On-chain,’ the event focuses on the practical application of blockchain technology in financial services and institutional markets, moving beyond mere technical testing.

Key discussion topics include the implementation of KRW-pegged stablecoins, the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA) such as government bonds and stocks, and the integration of digital assets with traditional finance. Featured speakers include Arthur Hayes, Chief Investment Officer of Maelstrom, and representatives from Coinbase Institutional, KAIA, and various securities firms.

In conjunction with Korea Blockchain Week 2026, the AI-based stablecoin platform Facet and blockchain gaming company Nexus will host a networking event in Gangnam on September 29. The event aims to connect founders and professionals in the payment, stablecoin, and gaming sectors. Nexus and Facet are scheduled to sign a strategic partnership agreement on September 30 to collaborate on cross-border payments and stablecoin-based financial infrastructure.
