Blockstream launches institutional consulting and opens Swiss office

Blockstream has introduced Blockstream Consulting Services, a new division designed to provide banks and asset managers with direct access to the firm’s engineering teams. The initiative aims to assist financial institutions in evaluating, designing, and implementing Bitcoin-based infrastructure, including technical strategy, system architecture, and solutions for tokenized asset issuance and confidential settlement.

To support this expansion, the company has opened a new office in Lugano, Switzerland. This location will serve as a hub for European operations, targeting clients in Swiss financial centers such as Zurich, Geneva, and Zug. Blockstream leadership noted that Switzerland’s established banking tradition and supportive regulatory framework for digital assets make it a strategic location for regional growth.
