Blog2Social uses Model Context Protocol to enable AI social media workflows
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is being used to connect AI applications with external tools, specifically through a new Blog2Social MCP server. This integration enables AI agents to manage social media workflows ranging from initial drafting to final publication.
Under this system, AI agents can generate and publish text, images, and videos directly to social networks. The process utilizes a hosted endpoint and OAuth to simplify setup and control. While agents can autonomously execute defined steps, such as triggering workflows or calling services, human users maintain control through an approval process.
Key capabilities include preparing platform-specific content from various sources like landing pages or product updates, tailoring tone and length for different networks, and automating recurring workflows. The technology aims to reduce manual tasks like copy-pasting and switching between multiple tools.
