Blogger transforms 15m² rental in Chongqing into personalized living space

Tu Nguyet That, a 31-year-old blogger living in Chongqing, China, has gained attention for her approach to rental living. Despite not owning a home, she has transformed her 15-square-meter rented room into a highly personalized space.

Using a maximalist style, she has organized the small area into functional zones for sleeping, relaxing on a small sofa, working, and grooming. The room is decorated with pink tones, stuffed animals, and various ornaments, creating an aesthetic she describes as a “princess” or dollhouse-like environment.

Although the rental location has doubled her daily commute time, she prioritizes the comfort and joy of her living space, noting that the process of personalizing her surroundings provides a significant sense of accomplishment.
