Bloober Team reveals gameplay for Cronos: Lazarus DLC

Bloober Team has revealed new gameplay footage and details for Cronos: Lazarus, a story DLC for Cronos: The New Dawn, during Gamescom 2026. The expansion shifts the focus toward more direct combat compared to the original game's emphasis on survival and resource management.

Set before the events of the main game, players control the Warden during his time as a Pathfinder. The narrative follows his attempt to revive a lost Essence while navigating a complex relationship with the Collective. New gameplay mechanics include teleportation, creating decoys, temporary invisibility, and the use of new weapons like the Gladius. The expansion also introduces a powerful hunter sent by the Collective to track the protagonist.

Cronos: Lazarus is scheduled for release in Fall 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
