Blood donation appeals issued in Chubut province

Urgent calls for blood donations have been issued in the Chubut region of Argentina to assist patients in need of medical procedures.

In Comodoro Rivadavia, Pedro Maximiliano González, a patient suffering from leukemia, requires blood donations of any group and factor. Donors are requested to visit the Clínica del Valle, located on Ameghino Street. Requirements include being between 18 and 65 years old, weighing over 50 kilograms, and being in good health. Those with tattoos or piercings must have had them for at least one year.

In Trelew, Beatriz Osorio is seeking three additional blood donors to avoid the suspension of a scheduled surgery. While the need is particularly high for A negative (A-) and O negative (O-) blood types, all eligible donors are encouraged to visit the Servicio de Hemoterapia Austral at the Clínica San Miguel.
