Blood donor festivals held in Ravenna and San Nicolò, Italy

In Ravenna, the Advs FIDAS Ravenna society hosted a social celebration on 14 June to mark World Blood Donor Day. The event included a mass led by Father Mauro, who described donors as “testimoni della vita e dell’amore”, and a luncheon where donors were honored for reaching donation milestones – 90, 100, 200 and 300 donations – with representatives such as the regional health policy assessor Roberta Mazzoni in attendance.

From 26 to 29 June, Avis San Nicolò (Rottofreno–Calendasco) organized a four‑day Festa del Donatore, featuring live music bands each evening, food stalls and activities aimed at promoting the culture of blood donation and community solidarity.
