Blood of the Dawnwalker receives split-screen co-op mod

Rebel Wolves’ debut RPG, Blood of the Dawnwalker, features a narrative centered on a protagonist named Coen who becomes a vampire and must save his family from a sire named Brencis in the valley of Vale Sangora. Developed by veterans of the Witcher series, the game includes various side missions, such as assisting local villagers and exploring crypts. While the story and unique time mechanics have been noted, some gameplay elements like combat variety and mission impact have faced criticism.

In a recent development for PC players, a new mod titled ‘Dawnwalker Together’ has been released by creator MrSecondPlayer. Currently in its alpha phase, the mod introduces split-screen co-op functionality, allowing two players to explore Vale Sangora together on a single screen. One player uses a mouse and keyboard while the second uses a gamepad. Because the game was designed for single-player use, the mod is experimental; quests, story scenes, and certain combat systems still primarily function around a single player.
