Bloom Energy revenue surges 138% amid AI data center power demand

Bloom Energy reported a 138% year-on-year increase in third-quarter revenue, reaching $1.24 billion, driven by the growing electricity needs of artificial intelligence data centers. The company beat Wall Street estimates for both sales and profit, reporting non-GAAP diluted earnings per share of $0.94.

In response to strong performance, Bloom Energy raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $4.4 billion to $4.6 billion. The company is benefiting from a shift toward decentralized, on-site power generation as data center operators face grid connection delays that can last between three and six years.

Bloom Energy is expanding its manufacturing capacity, aiming to increase annual production from 1 GW to 2 GW by the end of 2026, with long-term goals of reaching 5 GW. The company also noted its recent addition to the S&P 500 and highlighted new projects, including a 700-megawatt carbon capture initiative involving Google and AEP.
