Bloomsbury to release two new Harry Potter Pocket Potters books

Bloomsbury Publishing has announced the release of two new illustrated books in the ‘Pocket Potters’ series, scheduled for February 23, 2027. These short, 32-page hardcover guides are designed for children, young readers, and long-time fans of the Harry Potter franchise.

The new volumes will focus on Professor Minerva McGonagall and the Weasley twins, Fred and George. The McGonagall book, illustrated by Natalie Smillie, will explore her academic career, her role as Gryffindor Head, and her ability to transform into a cat. The volume dedicated to Fred and George, illustrated by Helen Brady, will detail their time at Hogwarts, their penchant for causing chaos, and the creation of their magical joke shop.

These additions expand the existing collection, which already includes titles dedicated to characters such as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Albus Dumbledore, and Luna Lovegood. The release is timed to coincide with the conclusion of the first season of the new HBO television adaptation of the series.
