Blora Regency explores integrating CSR funds into regional budget

The Blora Regency Government is exploring the possibility of incorporating Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds from companies, such as PT Pertamina EP Cepu, into the Regional Original Income (PAD) within the local budget (APBD). This initiative follows a reduction in Transfer to Regions (TKD) funds from the central government, which has impacted Blora by approximately Rp370 billion.

Acting Regional Secretary Dasiran noted that maximizing PAD is essential to ensure that regional development priorities remain funded. Meanwhile, the Deputy Minister of Villages and Disadvantaged Regions, Ahmad Riza Patria, emphasized that CSR programs can transform villages into independent and competitive subjects of development rather than mere objects of it. He highlighted that synergy between the government and the business sector through CSR can strengthen local economies, support MSMEs, and improve community infrastructure.
