Blossoms releases sixth studio album ‘Songs From The Wedding Cake’

The British indie-pop band Blossoms has released their sixth studio album, titled ‘Songs From The Wedding Cake’. The record features ten tracks, including ‘Additional Driver’, which features Declan McKenna.

Produced by Sean Lee at Tile House Studios, the album explores themes of marriage, domestic life, and the nuances of long-term relationships. The production style incorporates 80s-inspired funk and indie-pop elements. The collaboration with Lee was facilitated by a connection between Lee and the band’s guitarist, Josh Dewhurst, stemming from Lee’s work on the soundtrack for the video game ‘Bully’.

Following this release, the band is scheduled to embark on a major headline tour across arenas in the United Kingdom.
