Blue Angels perform over San Francisco after weather delay

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels returned to the skies over San Francisco's waterfront on Saturday, delivering a 40-minute aerial demonstration for Fleet Week. The performance follows a weather-related postponement on Friday, when heavy fog and low clouds forced organizers to cancel the scheduled flight.

Thousands of spectators gathered at locations such as Marina Green to witness the squadron's signature maneuvers, including high-speed passes, loops, and tight diamond and delta formations. The team's return was particularly noted by attendees following a government shutdown last year that prevented the squadron from appearing at the event. In addition to the Blue Angels, other aircraft, including a United Airlines Boeing 777, participated in the festivities.
