Blue Box anime second season scheduled for October 2026 release

The second season of the anime Blue Box, produced by studio Electric Circus and inspired by Kōcha Agasawa’s manga, is scheduled for release in October 2026. The series follows the relationship between Taiki Inomata, a badminton player, and Chinatsu Kano, a basketball player, as they navigate their sports careers and personal feelings.

Episodes are expected to follow a weekly release schedule. In Japan, the series will air on TBS and affiliated networks. For international audiences, Netflix is slated to be the exclusive streaming provider, typically releasing episodes shortly after the Japanese broadcast. One upcoming episode, titled ‘Déjà vu’, is noted in release schedules for early October 2026.
