BLUE Consult Secures BSI‑Approved C5 Type 1 Cloud Certification

BLUE Consult GmbH received a C5:2020 Type 1 testat from the Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik (BSI) for its BLUE Cloud services. The independent audit confirmed that the security controls examined were appropriately designed and implemented as of the audit date.

The C5 framework defines minimum requirements for secure cloud computing, and the testat adds cloud‑specific proof to BLUE Consult’s existing ISO/IEC 27001 certification. It covers areas such as information security, access management, network security, and backup and recovery procedures, giving customers transparent, verifiable evidence of the provider’s security measures and supporting risk, audit and vendor assessments, especially for organisations with high data‑protection and regulatory demands.
