Blue Dart and NCRTC partner to explore parcel movement on Namo Bharat corridor

Blue Dart Express Limited and the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to investigate the feasibility of moving express parcels along the 82-km Delhi–Ghaziabad–Meerut Namo Bharat corridor.

The collaboration aims to integrate Blue Dart’s pickup and delivery network with the regional rail connectivity provided by the Namo Bharat service. The study will evaluate operational requirements, parcel volumes, station facilities, service standards, and commercial arrangements to determine how the semi-high-speed infrastructure can support the freight ecosystem.

The corridor offers multimodal connectivity through key hubs, including Sarai Kale Khan, which links to the Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station and an inter-state bus terminal, and Anand Vihar, which connects to a railway station and two inter-state bus terminals. This connectivity is expected to facilitate efficient shipment movement between major transport hubs and surrounding businesses within the National Capital Region.
