Blue Ivy Carter performs with Jay-Z at Los Angeles concert

Blue Ivy Carter, 14, made a surprise appearance during Jay-Z’s 30th anniversary concert at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Performing alongside her father, she played the piano during renditions of “The Story of O.J.” and “Dead Presidents.”

The event was also attended by Beyoncé, who watched the performance from a suite alongside former Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. The presence of the three women marked a notable reunion for the group, which originally rose to fame in 1997 before disbanding in 2005.

This performance follows previous onstage appearances by Blue Ivy during her mother’s “Cowboy Carter” tour. Jay-Z has previously defended his daughter against criticisms of nepotism, stating she has worked hard to develop her skills and fought to participate in major musical performances.
