Blue Lock live‑action cast graces front and back of Weekly Shonen Magazine

To promote the live‑action adaptation of the soccer manga Blue Lock, the film’s cast appeared on both the front and back covers of the August 36‑37 combined issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine, marking the first time male actors have featured on both sides. The front cover displays Takahashi Fumiya as Kiyoshi, Sakurai Kaito as Hachiro, Takahashi Kyohei as Hyoma, and Nomura Kenta as Ren, while the back cover shows K (&TEAM) as Seiji and Tsuna as Rei. Inside, the magazine includes photo spreads and comments from the actors about their roles and the movie’s appeal.

The film, produced by CREDEUS, opened nationwide in Japan on August 7 and will be released in more than 25 countries. The official YouTube channel launched special dialogue videos pairing the live‑action performers with the anime voice‑actors, such as Takahashi Fumiya with voice actor Kawae Ki and Sakurai Kaito with voice actor Kaito.

Blue Lock’s manga has surpassed 60 million copies worldwide, underscoring the franchise’s broad fan base.
