Blue Marina Awards 2026 recognize Italian tourist ports
The fifth edition of the Blue Marina Awards concluded at the Chamber of Deputies in Rome, honoring 22 Italian tourist ports and marinas for excellence in service quality, environmental sustainability, innovation, and safety. The awards utilize a rigorous evaluation system featuring over 40 performance indicators across six strategic areas, including energy, climate, digitalization, and accessibility, with independent verification conducted by RINA.
Among the recipients were Bisceglie Approdi SpA and the Marina di Pescara. The ceremony included participation from maritime authorities and institutional representatives, such as Admiral Pierpaolo Ribuffo, to discuss the strategic role of maritime infrastructure in strengthening Italy's coastal economies and tourism competitiveness.
In a separate initiative held at the same venue, the Intergruppo Parlamentare ‘Sviluppo Sud, Aree Fragili e Isole Minori’ presented awards to individuals contributing to the development of Italy's southern and fragile regions. Recipients included sociologist AnnaRita De Feo for her work in communication and volunteerism, and entrepreneur Rosanna Marrazzo for her social responsibility efforts at Hotel Punta Imperatore in Ischia.
