Blue Tree Foundation recruits 10th UN Youth Delegation

The Blue Tree Foundation (BTF) is recruiting its 10th cohort of the ‘2027 UN Youth Delegation.’ The program seeks passionate individuals aged 13 to 24 to advocate for sustainable development, human rights, and the prevention of school and cyber violence on the international stage.

Selected delegates will participate in the 65th session of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Commission on Social Development in New York in February 2025. Beyond attending official sessions, participants will organize and speak at UN-approved side event forums, engage with ambassadors and UN experts, receive mentoring from global business leaders, and visit prestigious universities in New York and Boston.

To mark its 10th term, the foundation has lowered the minimum age to 13 and introduced scholarship opportunities providing 4.75 million KRW in support. Additionally, top winners from the ‘Road to UN’ and ‘UN VOICE’ competitions can receive up to 10 million KRW in travel expenses. Since 2019, the program has produced 61 alumni and has successfully seen official statements adopted at UN sessions for six consecutive years.
