BlueBird Simulations releases Boeing 757 for Microsoft Flight Simulator

BlueBird Simulations has released its Boeing 757 simulation for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 following five years of development. The Boeing 757-200 passenger variant includes options for both Rolls-Royce RB211 and Pratt & Whitney PW2000 engines, featuring winglet and non-winglet versions.

The simulation includes a custom-built “Pegasus” Flight Management Computer with LNAV and VNAV functionality, as well as integration with SimBrief and Navigraph. The cockpit features over 200 functional circuit breakers and detailed hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. The release also emphasizes audio realism with over 450 cockpit audio samples.

The launch followed a brief delay originally scheduled for October 23. BlueBird Simulations reported that the setback was caused by a team member responsible for deployment infrastructure and backend systems being admitted to urgent care. The developer confirmed the aircraft is now available for download.
