Rapper Blueface was involved in a physical altercation following a baby shower for his partner, Nevaeh Akira, in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 16. Video footage shows Blueface being struck by a punch that sent him falling backward into the street during a melee involving several men. Following the event, Blueface and Akira welcomed their first child together, a son named Johnathan Jamall Porter Jr., on Tuesday, August 18.

In a separate development, rapper DDG addressed tensions with Blueface during a livestream on Wednesday, August 19. Blueface had publicly questioned their friendship after DDG failed to attend the baby shower or respond to the invitation.
