Bluefields inaugurates new cultural and creative tourism circuit

The Bluefields City Hall and the Local Creative Economy Commission have launched the “Historia y Cultura en el Paseo de la Autonomía” creative circuit. This new cultural tourism route is designed to showcase the historical legacy, multiethnic diversity, and cultural wealth of the Caribbean city.

Launched on August 7 in observance of the Day of Emancipation from Slavery in Bluefields, the circuit includes several key sites. The route begins at Parque Reyes, which features an information mupi with a QR code and a selfie zone. It continues through the Municipal Palace, which houses a photographic gallery, and includes the South Caribbean Coast Autonomous Regional Council, Nuestra Señora del Rosario Church, and Colegio San José.

The tour also incorporates the Carl Rigby Museum, the Scarlet Cuadra Waters House of Culture and Creativity, and the Miss Lizzie Nelson Museum, located at the new panoramic boardwalk in Bluefields.
