BlueNav and Tiger Marine unveil hybrid professional RIB at Grand Pavois 2026

BlueNav and Tiger Marine have formed a strategic partnership to develop hybrid propulsion systems for professional rigid inflatable boats (RIBs). The first model, a Tiger Marine 750 Open Fishing, will combine a 250 hp Honda outboard engine with two 8 kW BlueNav electric motors, allowing electric operation during low‑speed maneuvers and reducing noise and emissions in regulated zones.

The hybrid system includes BlueNav’s patented Virtual Anchor, Smart Mooring, 360° Docking and a mobile‑app control interface, aimed at sectors such as port operations, commercial fishing, maritime tourism, surveillance and rescue missions. The boat will be officially presented at the Grand Pavois boat show in La Rochelle, France, scheduled for September 2026.
