Bluesky expands AI tool Attie to create games and websites

Bluesky has expanded the capabilities of its AI-powered experimental platform, Attie, allowing users to create websites, games, quizzes, and polls without writing code. Previously used primarily for generating personalized social feeds, the updated tool enables users to build interactive social experiences by describing their ideas in natural language.

CEO Toni Schneider described this approach as “vibe coding for communities,” aiming to move AI creation from a solitary activity to a collaborative social experience. Projects created through Attie can be shared as standalone websites under the attie.site domain. The tool operates on the AT Protocol, ensuring that creations remain linked to users' existing Bluesky identities.

To encourage engagement across its 47 million users, Bluesky is leveraging its social network to solve the distribution problem often faced by independent developers. The platform also offers flexibility in AI models, allowing users to utilize their own models or open-weight options.
