Bluetooth satellite buttons enhance cycling computer control

New Bluetooth satellite buttons, often referred to as ‘blips’ or ‘shifters’, are being used to enhance cycling safety and convenience. These miniature transmitters, which are no larger than a two-euro coin, can be mounted discreetly under handlebar tape.

By connecting via Bluetooth to cycling computers such as Wahoo or Garmin, these buttons allow riders to navigate screens, check heart rate zones, or view maps with a simple thumb click. This technology enables cyclists to keep their hands on the shifters at all times, improving control and safety during high-speed descents or group rides.
