BLUETTI expands African energy access with solar and storage solutions

At the 140th Canton Fair in China, clean energy brand BLUETTI showcased a range of energy solutions aimed at addressing electricity affordability and accessibility in Africa. The company introduced an integrated Pay-as-you-go (PAYGO) solution that combines off-grid solar energy systems with the proprietary BLUETTI GO digital management platform. This system allows customers to access electricity through flexible installment payments to reduce upfront costs, while providing distributors with tools for sales tracking, inventory management, and remote device monitoring.

In addition to the PAYGO model, BLUETTI presented its HomeStar series, which offers energy storage capacities between 2 kWh and 5 kWh for residential use, clinics, and small businesses. The company also highlighted its commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage portfolio, featuring capacities from 64 kWh to 240 kWh, alongside integrated solar and electric vehicle charging systems designed for energy arbitrage and peak shaving.
