Bluey introduces Auslan-translated episodes on ABC Kids

ABC Kids is launching ‘Bluey’s Auslan Sign & Seek’, an initiative designed to help families learn and practice Australian Sign Language (Auslan) through the popular children's series Bluey. Created for National Week of Deaf People 2026, the program features signed episodes, simple tutorials, and a playful seek-and-find activity narrated by comedian Hamish Blake.

As part of the initiative, a two-day marathon will air on October 3 and 4, featuring 24 signed episodes. Following the event, the ABC will provide permanent access to the complete Bluey collection with Auslan translation via ABC iview, including longer-form episodes such as ‘The Sign’ and ‘Bluey’s Big Play’.
