Blumarine debuts Spring/Summer 2027 collection at Milan Fashion Week
Blumarine debuted its Spring/Summer 2027 collection at Milan Fashion Week, led by creative director David Koma. The collection draws inspiration from 1970s and Y2K California aesthetics, blending cinematic beach culture with themes of glamour and sensuality.
Koma’s designs incorporate elements of lounge and sleepwear, such as plumetis camisoles, floor-length robes, and jersey leggings with lingerie references. The collection features soft volumes in organza and tulle, alongside textures like ostrich feathers and technical satin bombers. Water-inspired motifs are also present, utilizing ruching to mimic foam and transparent sequins to create a liquid effect on georgette and denim fabrics.
Supermodel Irina Shayk opened the show in a sheer black mesh micro minidress featuring a corseted bodice, oversized ruffled sleeves, and a dramatic cascading tulle train.
