Blumenau announces traffic closures for Oktoberfest assembly

Traffic restrictions near Vila Germânica in Blumenau have been temporarily lifted, but new closures are scheduled to begin on Monday, September 21, for the assembly of the 41st Oktoberfest.

While streets Alberto Stein and Herbert Wehmuth were reopened on Wednesday, September 9, the city will implement new blockades starting the 21st to facilitate the setup of the festival structure. Alberto Stein street will face total closures in both directions, while Herbert Wehmuth street will experience partial closures on its right side.

The municipal government advises drivers to avoid the area surrounding Vila Germânica and suggests using Rua Itapiranga or streets connecting to Rua Humberto de Campos as alternatives. Organizers stated that these adjustments are part of the standard assembly schedule and do not indicate any delays in the festival's preparation.
