Blumenau police arrest drug trafficking suspect

Police in Blumenau, Brazil, arrested a man suspected of drug trafficking following an operation by the Civil Police. The suspect, who is also linked to a previously discovered cannabis plantation in the Itoupava Norte neighborhood, was apprehended near a gas station.

During the search, authorities seized approximately 140 grams of skunk, a high-potency variety of cannabis with a high THC concentration, along with two cell phones, drug preparation materials, and a BMW X3. This arrest follows an investigation from July 3, when police discovered a plantation containing 187 cannabis plants and indoor cultivation equipment at a property the suspect allegedly leased.
