Blumenau reorganizes anniversary celebrations due to rain

Rainy weather has forced the city of Blumenau to reorganize several events scheduled for its anniversary celebrations. The local government has postponed activities originally planned for Saturday and Sunday, August 29 and 30, 2026, that were to take place in public spaces and parks.

The ‘Vem pro Parque’ event, originally set for Saturday at Ramiro Ruediger Park, has been moved to Wednesday, September 2. Other rescheduled events include the City Tour and Cinepark, both of which are now slated for September 6. Some activities, such as SME sports activities at Parque das Itoupavas and a performance by the Municipal Band at Prainha, have been postponed without a confirmed new date.
