Blumhouse announces ‘The Last Kiss’ slasher romance starring McKenna Grace

Blumhouse, Atomic Monster, and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment are collaborating on the upcoming film ‘The Last Kiss’, a coming-of-age slasher romance directed and co-written by Yoko Okumura.

The story follows a high schooler named Laurel, played by McKenna Grace, who possesses a supernatural ability to foresee the exact manner of death of anyone she kisses. The plot centers on Laurel attempting to unmask a killer after a vision reveals that her crush is targeted in a murder spree alongside her close friends.

The film is described as a homage to classic teen slashers and folklore, blending the anxieties of young romance with high-stakes survival. It is scheduled for digital release in September.
