BMG signs Australian band Parcels to global publishing deal
Independent music company BMG has signed a global music publishing agreement with the Australian five-piece band Parcels. The deal was finalized at BMG’s European headquarters in Berlin.
Formed in Byron Bay, Australia, the band—consisting of Anatole Serret, Jules Crommelin, Louie Swain, Noah Hill, and Patrick Hetherington—relocated to Berlin in the mid-2010s. The group gained significant international recognition following their 2017 single ‘Overnight’, which was co-produced by Daft Punk. To date, Parcels has accumulated more than 1.5 billion career streams across three studio albums and various live recordings.
The partnership will utilize BMG’s global network to support the band’s international ambitions. The agreement was led by Jasper Niebuhr, managing director of BMG Germany/Switzerland/Austria, in collaboration with publishing teams across continental Europe, the United Kingdom, North America, and Australia.
