BMKG forecasts weather for West Java and Jakarta

The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has released weather forecasts for West Java and Jakarta. In West Java, the period from September 16 to September 23, 2026, is expected to be dominated by sunny, cloudy, and partly cloudy conditions. While many areas like Bogor, Cirebon, and Bekasi are predicted to be sunny, light rain is expected in several urban areas, including Bandung, Bogor, and Bekasi, on Friday, September 18.

In Jakarta, light rain is forecasted for various parts of the city at different times. West Jakarta is expected to see light rain in the afternoon, while South Jakarta may experience light rain at night. East Jakarta is also prone to light rain in the afternoon. Most other regions in Jakarta, including Central, North, and the Thousand Islands, are expected to experience varying degrees of cloudiness with temperatures hovering around 28 to 29 degrees Celsius.
