BMW and LEGO unveil 40th‑anniversary M3 E30 Speed Champions set

BMW and the LEGO Group have created a joint commemorative product to mark the 40th anniversary of the BMW M3 E30. For the first time in the history of both brands, designers from BMW and LEGO collaborated on a LEGO Speed Champions set that mirrors the real car’s special graphics, inspired by the BMW M Motorsport heritage.

The set contains 358 pieces, measures 17 cm long and 7 cm wide, and includes a minifigure wearing a replica BMW M t‑shirt. It is priced at €27.99 and will be available for pre‑order now, with sales beginning on 1 August 2026 through LEGO stores, selected BMW retailers and the LEGO online shop. A matching organic‑cotton t‑shirt for the minifigure will also launch on the same date.

To celebrate the launch, a public event in Berlin will display the real BMW M3 E30 showcar painted with the same graphics as the LEGO model, allowing visitors to see both versions side by side.
