BMW Bank expands leasing insurance to private customers

BMW Bank has expanded its comprehensive leasing insurance coverage to include private customers, a service previously reserved for commercial clients. Through the ‘BMW Protect’ program, private individuals can now secure their leased BMW vehicles with a fixed monthly rate.

Developed in collaboration with VHV Allgemeine Versicherung AG, the ‘BMW Protect’ package includes third-party liability, partial coverage, and comprehensive insurance with deductibles of 500 or 1,000 euros. The plan also features coverage for accidental damage to the user's own garage door or second vehicle, as well as an included roadside assistance service. For the BMW 1 Series, rates start at 49 euros per month.

Additionally, the bank is continuing its ‘MINI Smile’ offering, which provides coverage for selected MINI models for a monthly premium of 59 euros. Both programs offer constant premiums throughout the entire leasing term, regardless of the driver's age, mileage, or no-claims class.
