BMW driver charged with obstructing emergency vehicle in Skive

A driver in a white BMW X5 is facing charges in Skive, Denmark, after obstructing an emergency vehicle. The incident occurred on Herningvej shortly before 6:00 PM on Wednesday. While other motorists pulled aside to allow an ambulance with sirens and lights to pass, the BMW driver remained in the middle of the road, fluctuating speed and preventing the ambulance from overtaking.

Local police have obtained the vehicle's registration number and have contacted the driver. This marks the first instance this year in the district where a driver has been charged with obstructing emergency services, an offense that can carry a prison sentence of up to one and a half years.
